Send someone a Highland cow.
Every day. For a month.
Pick a person. We'll then send them a hand-picked Highland cow every morning for thirty days. Each one is roughly the size of a small car and has the temperament of a sofa.
One payment. No subscription. One-click opt-out.
Three steps. Thirty coos.
Nominate your person
Tell us who's getting the Highland cows. A friend, a foe, or simply yourself. Add a note and take the credit, or stay anonymous. We won't ask why.
Let them know
Know their email? We'll send the invitation for you. Haven't the foggiest? Take a link and send it to them and let them open their generous gift.
Release the coos
Once the gift is opened, a Highland cow turns up every single morning, never the same one twice, until the month runs out. Nothing else for you to do.
Who are you buying for?
The One Who Went To Scotland Once
They talk about it. There is a photograph of a Highland cow on their phone from four years ago and you have seen it more than once. Give them thirty more and find out whether there is a limit.
The Perpetually Stressed
They need to look at something enormous that has never once had a deadline. A Highland cow stands in horizontal rain all winter and considers this fine. There is a lesson in it, delivered daily, at eight.
The Deserving
It's you. Nobody else was going to, and quite frankly, you deserve it. Put your own name in the box. We won't mention it, and neither will the coos.
We serve all three, without judgement. ๐
This is what lands, every morning.

Cow a Day
to you ยท 08:00
Day 9. The weather is doing nothing to her.
Sideways rain, four degrees, and a fringe holding roughly a pint of it. She has been standing in exactly this spot since breakfast and intends to continue.
Sent with love by Jonny.
Had enough? Stop the cows in one click.
Can you really put a price on the joy of a Highland cow?

You've got questions.
Is this a joke?+
It might seem it, but no, we're deadly serious. It is a real service that really does send a real Highland cow to a real person, every day, for a month.
How does it actually reach them?+
When they open your gift link they choose where their Highland cows should turn up, from email to WhatsApp.
Can they make it stop?+
Every single cow carries a one-click opt-out. We didn't want to do that, but our lawyers told us we had to (Boo!). If they use it, the cows stop immediately. But really, who wouldn't want to see a Highland cow every morning for a month?
Will they know it's from me?+
Only if you'd like them to know. They'll receive the gift with your name and a personalised message. You can also go entirely anonymous, and we won't ask why.
Will they get the same cow twice?+
No. Thirty days, thirty distinct Highland cows. We keep a register. We take this extremely seriously, which is by some distance the funniest part.
Is it a subscription?+
No. You pay once, it runs its course, and then it stops. No card kept on file, no auto-renewal, no dark patterns. Just cows, then silence.
Can I schedule it to start on a birthday?+
Yes. Choose the start date and the first cow will land on the morning of. Nothing says 'many happy returns' like a month of enormous ginger cattle.
Are they all Highland cows?+
Yes. It's cowaday.co.uk because that's the domain, but the animal is the shaggy ginger one with the horns and the fringe. If a Friesian turns up, something has gone wrong and we would like to hear about it.
Can they see anything?+
Genuinely unclear. The fringe is called a dossan and it does not appear to inconvenience them in the slightest, which raises more questions than it settles.
